Hey internet stranger, I’m Mike Hegberg, and I’ve been working in design for the past 14 years.

Most of that time has been spent embedded inside of incredible in-house marketing teams at even more incredible companies. I’ve worked with everyone from family-owned contractor businesses deeply focused on foundation repair to fast-moving tech startups trying to create a few more happy Mondays.

My strength is staying close to the work. Scrappy, fast-moving, and flexible when it matters most. I tend to cast wide early on, then refine everything into a clear and cohesive direction across brand, digital, and product experiences. I care about making work that feels thoughtful, effective, and grounded in momentum over process.
